Uploading without an account

You can upload before you sign up. The library those documents go into lives in this browser and works for 48 hours.

The 48 hours run from the moment the library was created, not from your last upload. After that the connection stops working and the documents are deleted.

Signing up

Sign up while the window is still open and the documents you have already uploaded come with you. It is the same library, and it stops expiring.

Sign up from the browser holding them. Another browser holds a library of its own, and signing up there keeps that one.

Signing up after the 48 hours have passed gives you a working account, but it starts empty. The documents are gone by then.

What your plan sets

Five things: how many documents you may hold, how much storage they may take, how many queries you may ask in a month, which formats you may upload, and how long documents are kept. Your account page shows what you have used against each, and the pricing page shows what every tier includes.

The query month runs from the day your account was created, not from the first of the calendar month.

When an upload is refused

A refusal names the ceiling that stopped it. Out of document slots or out of storage: delete something, or move up a tier. A format your plan does not include: the message names the cheapest tier that does.

When the connector stops answering

Holding more than your plan allows pauses your connector, and so does spending your queries for the month.

Nothing is deleted while it is paused. Delete documents, move up a tier, or wait for the month to roll over, and it answers again.

Paying, changing and cancelling

Pick a tier on the pricing page to start paying. Once you are paying, Manage subscription on your account page opens the billing portal, where payment details, invoices and cancellation live. A plan change starts on the pricing page and finishes in that same portal.

Cancelling leaves you on the plan you paid for until the end of the period. The account then returns to Free and keeps its documents. The 30-day free-account limit applies to them from then on, and anything already past it is warned by email before it goes.

Closing the account

Delete all documents, on your account page, erases what you have uploaded and leaves the account open. Request account deletion, beside it, emails us to close the account itself.
